Saturday was Barinder & Raymond’s wedding ceremony! So familiar and similar to other weddings we’ve been to, yet so different in a few ways… bride in red… heads covered and no shoes in temple… and my favorite – we sat on the floor. I’ve never felt so comfortable at work before! Everyone who knows me knows that, one, I’m always barefoot at home (drives my mother crazy, ha ha) and two, I usually sit on the floor, so, for me, this was a wonderful way to shoot. We were also allowed to move around as much as we needed to. Not always a luxury we get unless we are shooting an outdoor wedding. Since the reception was to follow on Sunday, keep in mind that this post is strictly ceremony. The next and final post of Raymond & Barinder’s wedding will be of the reception and the formal portraits! Be prepared to be left breathless.
